Garden Maintenance Prices
Regular garden maintenance across Edinburgh, Midlothian and East Lothian, with clear pricing and visits tailored to your garden.

What do we charge?
Our regular maintenance rate is £50 per gardener, per hour, with a usual minimum of two man hours per visit (£100).
A man hour means one gardener working for one hour. For example:

One gardener working for two hours: £100
-
Two gardeners working for one hour: £100
-
Two gardeners working for 1½ hours: £150
Before starting regular maintenance, we’ll discuss your garden, the work required and the suggested visit length so you know what to expect.

What can a maintenance visit include?
We prioritise the tasks your garden needs throughout the year, including:

Lawn mowing and edging

Weeding beds and borders

Hedge trimming and shrub pruning

Leaf clearing and general tidying

Seasonal garden care
If your garden needs an initial tidy-up before regular visits begin, we’ll discuss and price this separately.

How often should we visit?
Fortnightly visits during the growing season (march till the end of October) help to keep on top of grass, weeds and general upkeep.
We’ll recommend a schedule based on your garden and how you’d like it maintained.

Monthly visits during the winter Months to keep on top of the garden and ensure a flourishing garden year round.

Is waste removal included?
Green waste removal is charged separately:

Black bag: £7
-
Bulk bag: £15
If you have a brown garden waste bin with space available, we can use this instead.

Is there a minimum visit?
Our usual minimum is two man hours per visit. Shorter visits may be available for very local gardens or properties close to our existing maintenance customers.

What does our pricing cover?
Our rates support a reliable, insured service with properly maintained equipment and the time needed to care for your garden thoroughly.
We aim to build a regular routine for your garden, helping you enjoy it without having to keep on top of everything yourself.

How does payment work?
We send an invoice after each visit, with payment due within 24 hours. Any waste removal or agreed additional costs will be shown separately.
